Equipment

  • 1 shot glass
  • 1 cocktail shaker

Ingredients

  • ½ ounce vanilla vodka
  • ½ ounce watermelon pucker
  • ½ ounce sweet and sour mix

Instructions

  • Begin my prepping the rim of your shot glass with pink sugar. I didn't have any pink sugar or sprinkles on hand, so I dyed my sugar pink with a drop of food coloring.
  • In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine vanilla vodka, watermelon pucker and sour mix. Shake for 10-15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Pour into your prepared shot glass. Garnish with a pink Starburst on the edge of your glass or using a cocktail pick.

Notes

  • Pink Starburst Cocktail - To turn this recipe from a shot to a cocktail, simply double the recipe and serve it in a cocktail glass instead of a shot glass. It makes a great sipping drink as well.
  • Garnish Ideas - Add a dollop of Cool Whip with pink sprinkles if you want to make a more festive version. I love using pink Starburst candy as a garnish.
  • If you don't have a cocktail shaker, you can use a mason jar (or any type of water bottle with a tight sealing lid) to shake up this recipe. Fear not!
