My fomative years 17-23 between 1980 – mid 80’s,(clubbing & pubbing) were built on Bundy & Coke (Bundaberg Rum & Coke) It was equally consumed by males & females. But at that point I lived on the Gold Coast, in Queensland, Australia so it was almost expected. Then I was introduced to The Black Russian, But it had, Vodka, Kahlúa & Coke. Probably to take a bit of the kick out of it. People would often say ‘You must try a White Russian”, but cream in any drink was not a positive for me , but it always looked so pretty running through the glass. I did know a number of people who loved a White Russian. Oh the Memories….

And PS: ‘You do You’. Sometimes I read, sometimes, not so much. Don’t be a prisoner to your audience. The years go very very fast and children grow even faster.

Hi Lori, We are taking a few weeks off from 10 things because we pre-scheduled our holiday break. We plan to continue 10 things either on our blog or within our newsletter.

To answer your question- our recipe focus is working extremely well for our financial and personal goals. After blogging for more than 15 years I understand that we are always going to disappoint someone. In this season of life we have made pivots to make this blog more sustainable and enjoyable for us as writers. If it’s no longer for you, we understand and we wish you well! I truly mean that- have a good holiday! xx
