Hi! Yes, I usually would make a double recipe and keep the base in the fridge. Since it has fresh ingredients the best timeframe to use it within is three days (you could also freeze individual servings if you really wanted to stretch the timeframe). Have fun making it!

I can’t wait to try it. During pregnancies it seems to be the only way I can stomach caffeine to keep headaches away! Have you made double, triple, etc of the base and kept in the refrigerator until ready to use? If so, how long? Or do you just keep the syrup in the fridge and mix the powders in when ready to make a drink? Thanks!

Hi Georgia,
I grabbed mine at the grocery store. If it’s not available you can substitute it for apple juice and the drink will still turn out very similar. I don’t consider it a key ingredient. Good luck!! :))

In reply to Hannah.

Hi Hannah, I haven’t tried using freeze dried powder, so if you do please let me know how it turns out. I would try 2 tablespoons. I do recommend the freeze dried strawberries if you enjoy that element of the drink (I think it adds a lot).

This drink looks perfect for hot days or as a pick-me-up during my busy schedules. The icy texture and fruity flavors look so yummy and I can’t wait to try it out. Thanks for sharing this tasty drink idea.
