Tropical-flavored cocktails are kind of one of those things that you either love or hate, but I am firmly in the “love” category … especially if there’s a beach under my chair and a plate of chips and guac nearby, amiright?!?
Pina Coladas always make me think of being on our honeymoon in Mexico and the cool, sweet, fruity flavor is a classic summer cocktail.
Rather than buy a jug of mix from the store, you can make your own fresh version to throw in the blender with some rum (or enjoy as a virgin option!) and let the flavors transport you to somewhere sunny …

Store your mix in an airtight container for 2-3 days to pull out as needed, or you can go straight to the delicious part and make a batch right then.
I made a virgin one for my toddler and she loved it, so I think it will be easy to make some of these that the whole family can enjoy this summer. Don’t forget the umbrella! xo. Laura

This was absolutely delicious! A huge hit when I had people over for labor day. I managed to get about 3 drinks per round. Though I will say, the alcohol content really sneaks up on you haha
3 tablespoons of lime juice “about 3 times” means what exactly??
